Schwimmende Kugelh\u00e4hne werden \u00fcber eine Welle bet\u00e4tigt, die mit dem oberen Teil der Kugel verbunden ist und diese um 90 Grad dreht <\/strong>(eine sogenannte Viertelumdrehung). W\u00e4hrend sich die Kugel dreht, \u00f6ffnet oder schlie\u00dft sich der Durchgang und l\u00e4sst den Durchfluss der Fl\u00fcssigkeit zu oder stoppt ihn. W\u00e4hrend sich die Kugel um ihre Achse dreht, dr\u00fcckt der Druck des Durchflusses die Kugel gegen ihren Sitz stromabw\u00e4rts und erzeugt so eine dichte Abdichtung. Daher ist es m\u00f6glich, dass schwimmende Kugelventile in Anwendungen mit sehr niedrigem Druck nach einer gewissen Abnutzung des Sitzes nicht mehr so effektiv abdichten. Dies liegt daran, dass m\u00f6glicherweise nicht gen\u00fcgend Druck vorhanden ist, um die Kugel gegen den stromabw\u00e4rts gelegenen Sitz zu dr\u00fccken und eine dichte Abdichtung zu schaffen. In den meisten Anwendungen reicht der Druck stromabw\u00e4rts jedoch aus, um eine hermetische Abdichtung aufrechtzuerhalten, lange nachdem die Sitze begonnen haben, sich abzunutzen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

WEICHEM SITZ<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Weichsitzventile haben Dichtfl\u00e4chen aus nichtmetallischen Thermoplasten wie PTFE, Nylon, PEEK und anderen… Sie sind f\u00fcr Betriebstemperaturen unter 270 \u00b0C geeignet (abh\u00e4ngig vom Dichtungsmaterial). Unter geeigneten Bedingungen k\u00f6nnen Ventile mit weichem Sitz w\u00e4hrend ihrer gesamten Lebensdauer eine sehr hohe Dichtigkeit bieten, in der Regel mehr als ein herk\u00f6mmliches Metallventil.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Weichsitzventile sind jedoch keine gute Wahl f\u00fcr korrosive Medien, verschmutzte oder abrasive Prozessfl\u00fcssigkeiten.<\/strong> Diese Bedingungen k\u00f6nnen dazu f\u00fchren, dass der Weichsitz bricht und Undichtigkeiten verursacht. Sie halten nicht denselben Dr\u00fccken stand wie Metallventile. Obwohl Ventile mit weichem Sitz oft kosteng\u00fcnstiger sind als Ventile mit Metallsitz, sind Ventile mit Metallsitz in der Regel besser geeignet, wenn eine hohe Beanspruchung erforderlich ist. <\/p>\n
